Easy hexapod walker:using a PIC-microcontroller as a “brain”, it controls three servo-motors to move the electronic creature in front, back, left and right directions. An “eyes” system formed for two IR LEDs and one IC receiver let the bot to avoid obstacles and find the way out from any enclosed situation. With minimal extra hardware required, the “bug” will be alive in less than two hours for an intermediate skilled person.
