Arduino Reaction Timer

This kit builds an Arduino based reaction timer. There are three modes to the operation of the reaction timer. The reaction timer uses a buzzer, an LED light, and an LCD display; each as stimuli for all three modes.

The first mode will use the buzzer. When the operator pushes the start button, the buzzer makes a starting tone. When the tone changes pitch, the user must push the stop button as fast as they can to stop the reaction timer. The LCD display will show the person's reaction time.

The second mode uses the LED light. The light will flash a series of colours. When the colour changes to red, the user must push the stop button as fast as they can to stop the reaction timer. The LCD display will show the person's reaction time.

The third mode uses the LCD display. The LCD will read a series of numbers. When all of the numbers read the same, the user must push the stop button as fast as they can to stop the reaction timer. The LCD display will show the person's reaction time.

The reaction timer will store one person's reaction time for all three modes until power is removed from the reaction timer or when the timer is reset. Once you input new data from a new test subject, the old test subjects's reaction time data will be erased.
